What's with All the Surveys?
 
 

Over the past year we have been asking our patients to help us gather feedback about Family Medical Group NE. In September 2012 a Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Survey was sent to our patients as part of our participation in the Enhancing Child Health in Oregon (ECHO) collaborative. In December 2012 another CAHPS Patient Survey was sent out as part of our acceptance to the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPCI). These surveys were in depth and we are very appreciative of the time you took to complete them. The knowledge gained by the results of these surveys are already helping us gain insight on the needs of our patients and what we can do to improve our care delivery and clinic operations.

 

To test the improvements we have been working on at FMG, we will be conducting some smaller in-office surveys to get feedback on if these changes are beneficial to our patients. We appreciate your participation in these surveys which will help provide us with immediate feedback on whether the changes being implemented are effective. Thank you for your patience and for taking the time to complete these surveys, as well as your participation in the CAHPS Patient Survey. Our goal is to continually implement ways to improve the care we deliver at Family Medical Group, and your feedback is an integral factor that guides our efforts
